Los Jameos del Agua: situated at the north of the island, this tunnel has been dug by the flowing lava from the volcano of La Corona, it is 7 kilometres long, 2 km under the sea. In the interior of the cave there's a salt water lagoon inhabited by species unique in the world: blind albino crabs, their scientific name is munidopsis polymorpha, galatheidae , re-baptised "Jameito".
The beauty of the place, the exotic plants, the natural swimming pool, the ambience penumbra surrounding the lagoon and the return to the bright sun light will make you feel as in a dream.
An auditorium at the far end and on top there's a museum that shows the volcanic formation of the Canary Islands .
