Trekking excursion with Marcelo
Come to find a simple way to discover the hidden beautiful landscapes of Lanzarote, just doing a light exercise for your body, breathing the precious air offered by the unpolluted world of the less known parts of the island, you are bound to discover the secret spots that mass tourists ignore, only the older of our people of the island knew about these pathways rarely visited nowadays. Marcelo is a professional guide who started doing the visit to the Fire Mountains for mass tourism. Some time later he decided to work for himself and make possible this project of trekking for tourism, which is more ecological and respectful for the environment. Nowadays he proposes 3 types of excursion, each one of them is conceived to make you enjoy them at a 100%.

The first excursion is the most popular, it's the visit to the Natural Park of Timanfaya, made entirely through pathways authorised by the government. Understanding that the point is to preserve flora and fauna of this strange, beautiful and rough site, the sensations you are going to experience are indescribable due to the strangeness and loneliness of the site, the energies emanating from this place will invade each of the cells of your body, will charge you up with new energy and will provide you strength and well being. This excursion is proposed from November until April.

The second excursion is a brilliant one, is the visit to he Volcano of La Corona (the Crown), if you have never seen a crater from nearby, go there everyone, all your senses will be stimulated. The colour of the rocks are splendid, different the one to the other, sulphured rocks at the pathways, wide silence, it is the volcanic impression.
The route does not stop there, it continues to the cliffs of Famara and finishes at Maguez, which is a little nice village lost in the mountains. Marcelo proposes this excursion the whole year round, however it is more colourful during the winter period because it has the green tinctures of the growing grass.

The third excursion is a sweet mixture, pedestrian and maritime, it's the visit of Playa del Risco and La Graciosa, you will be guided by the only existing pathway, anciently used by the inhabitants of La Graciosa to get to Lanzarote, (La Graciosa is situated at the very north of Lanzarote). You will make exactly the same route they did in the past, and a boat awaits you at the beach to transfer you to the opposite shoreline where you will delight the purity of the water of this island not very visited, La Graciosa. Marcelo has available masks and snorkels for those who want to explore the marine edge.
Marcelo proposes this excursion from July through to October.
