The "Indian Zaffran" is THE Indian Restaurant of the island.
Owned and managed by a Hindu family from Rajasthan residents in Lanzarote since many years. Kamal as the proprietor of the Indian Zaffran proposes a large selection of freshly cooked indian dishes, served in a typical hindu decoration.

Tandoori is the chef's speciality, he prepares many different dishes in the tandoor oven, with chicken, lamb, prawns, cheese, and many others as main ingredient.
At the Indian Zaffran you can find a large variety of vegetarian dishes, of which we point out Malai Kofta, Daal (lentils), Saag (spinach), and many other vegetable dishes, prepared with their delicious home made mixture of spices.

Experts and novices in indian cuisine secrets will find a full varied menu with the most exotic tastes to satisfy your palate.
Here follows a modest example of the dishes they propose:
Tikka Masala, Madras , Vindaloo, Curry, Korma, Dopiaza, Karahi, Biryani
Depending on your choice for the main course, you can accompany your meal with Nan (hindu bread), or your favourite flavoured Rice.
For infants who are not used to these special flavours, there are many european style dishes.

The choice is so extensive that one time is not enough to taste all these wonders. That's why the second restaurant of this family was inaugurated in summer 2009, it has panoramic sea views and a large terrace, it is called the Indian Aroma and it is situated in beginning the main avenue as you walk from the heart of Puerto del Carmen.
